Imagine, what they're going through
Life, fragile as it is
Probably we've never experienced a natural disaster
We take everything, even life, for granted
Corpses of students, holding pens
The hunger to learn, for knowledge
Until their last breath
That very spirit, I give a standing ovation
How would you feel one day
When you were going through a normal routine
And the next moment
A loved one leaves you, forever
While you are reading this
Homeless people are struggling to live
Children sleeping on debris
Parents mourning for their child
All we can do, is give them moral support
And provide them with as much aid as possible
But no one can give them back the only thing they desire
Their loved ones
Voices calling out for help
Throughout the night
Hoarse, tired and desperate
The symphony of a disaster
Lives broken
Dreams stashed
What more can they possible lose
Every tear cried is a story to tell
Can you even bear to look
The heartaching photographs
Of motionless, small bodies
That was once a happy, alive child
Many say time heals everything
It's not easy, and it will never be
The world watches as the death toll increases
Hang in there.
四川,加油!
